Mission of the SIG Reproductive Endocrinoloy

  • To promote scientific and clinical advancements in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology within ESHRE
  • To increase knowledge and interest in Reproductive Endocrinology among ESHRE member and collaborate and exchange knowledge with other ESHRE SIGs
  • To promote collaboration with other international societies in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology
  • To initiate Guideline Development for the field of Reproductive Endocrinology practice, such as Infertility Work-Up, Diagnosis and Treatment of Anovulation, Ovarian Stimulation for IVF/ICSI.

Fields of interest

Fields of interest of the SIG RE include: female endocrinology, from adolescence to menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian failure, poor ovarian response, ovarian stimulation, optimization of in vitro fertilization outcome, recurrent implantation failure, ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome, fertility preservation.

Members

The Special Interest Group of Reproductive Endocrinology is one of the larger SIGs in ESHRE with more than 2659 members (July 2017). 

Activities

The SIG RE aims in providing education through ESHRE Precongress Courses and ESHRE Campus Workshops, in producing Guidelines in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and in contributing to the annual congress by participating in the Scientific Committee of the annual ESHRE meeting, reviewing submitted abstracts in the field of RE and suggesting relevant keynote lectures.
